Introducing......

Ok if you're a youtube fan..and you like listening to Pop music then da da da...

Introducing.....................

---------->Landon Gadoci!<--------------
Click on his name.

He's um someone. I don't know him. Lol. But, he does cover's on different songs. He has a pretty good voice actually. He kind of reminds me of that dude a couple years ago on American Idol who ALMOST won!! Jake and I were routing for him. Blake Lewis on season 6 of American Idol! But, that year Jordin Sparks won. Remeber Blake? The awesome beat boxers and he had that higher pitched voice for a guy, like a J.T. kind of voice. (Justin Timber Lake) That's who Landon reminds me of.

Anyways. Yeah. Check out his youtube channel. Just your average youtube person, singing other people's songs hoping to be a singer someday. I wish I could sing! Lol.

HAPPY REFORMATION DAY! By the way! Haha.

Regards,

Lissie

Praise the Lord!

Praise God! Daddy is alright! He went to the doctors. They gave him an x-ray and the doc says he's good! And Mum was right we did have swine flu. The doctor said that his chest is probably just irritated from coughing so much.

Praise the Lord!

I'm so happy nothing is wrong with my Daddy. I was so worried! I love my Daddy you know!

Hugs and Kissie for my wonderful, precious Daddy!,

~Elisabeth Darcy

S.O.S. Prayers Needed!

As you know we've had the flu all week. My Dad still hasn't fully recovered from the flu. We all knew it'd take him longer because he's working through it! My poor Daddy called my mom and told him that he was coughing up blood this morning!

My parents aren't insured. He's going to see the doctors at Mercy Medical center through urgent care. I'm worried about him. Coughing up blood..isn't that scary? My Dad can use all your prayers. We think he might have bronchitis or pneumonia.

Please pray!! Please!!

Thanks much,

Lissie Darcy

Fingers crossed

I am so tired of being sick. Without a doubt I agree 100% that my Mom was right when she said that we have swine flu. Seriously! It's been since Tuesday now. I wake up each day thinking I'm better only to be under the spell of lethargic. My cough is still lingering. But, other then that I seem to be perfectly normal.

When will it end!? I just want to get better!! I just want to be normal again!! Come on homeostasis!! Where's that negative feedback system when ya need it!?

Oh the joys of having a big family when EVERYONE'S sick!

Here's to cough drops, cough syrup (..oh the horror!), and universe juice (long story on that one),

~Lissie

Ps. The universe juice is this like immune system boosting stuff. It's "all natural". BLECK. It taste like every plant on the universe has been boiled together in one big pot to make that black juice..ew. It's gross. Which is why I named it "universe juice". Guess it wasn't as long of a story as I made it out to be! *sighs* I REALLY AM LOVING LIFE RIGHT NOW!! Ok. No. I'm not. I'm miserable. I've given up "looking at the bright side". I WANNA GET BETTER! NOT GET BLIND! (corny moment)

Ps.s. I have my fingers crossed that I'll be better--SOMEDAY!

The flu

Here's how my night went. In the late afternoon I got a fever of 101.0 and since I'm stupid I decided day quill will be efficient enough to keep my fever down. I guess Motrin is the way to go. (And everyone right now is like, "Yah DUH! Idiot"..well that's me alright!) So I'm sitting there..an hour or so later I check my temperature again and it went up to 101.2 I'm like oh, great. Lovely. This gives me hope for the future because, as you can see my fever is lingering.

I took Motrin. Thank goodness I did. Got rid of all those body aches! SERIOUSLY, I felt like I'm 80. I know I say that all the time. (Ok, not all the time.)

Later on we ate dinner. Jonah and Jamesyn went to awana's. It was just my Mom, my Dad, Jules, Jake, and I eating together. Kind of nice. The whole, "How's life with just 3 kids Mom and Dad?" that kind of thing. Haha. We love those little moments when it's just us and our parents. (Think about it. I share my parents with all 6 of my siblings. It's nice when you get special moments with them to yourself! And they are rare.) I went to bed at 8 o' clock. Actually, I went to my room at 8. I colored in my Anatomy and Physiology coloring book til 8:30 and then decided to go to bed. Had a hard time falling asleep even though I was drop dead tired.

After what felt like hours have gone by, I happened to wake up and look at my clock and it's only 10:30. I'm like oh great. I can already tell this is going to be a horrible night. I go back to sleep and wake up at 2:33 a.m. I have to go pee. (T.m.i. but just hang in there ok?) So I get up to go to the bathroom right? First off, I'm burning with fever. I'm all weak. I'm really tired. When I get up to walk to the bathroom, my whole room is spinning and I feel so dizzy like I'm going to throw up. Instead of walking, I crawled. It helped take away some of the dizziness. I got back in bed and tossed and turned looked at my clock it was 4 a.m. I'm still burning with fever. I felt like I'm going to throw up my insides out. I figure it's because I'm burning with fever..and well need Motrin. My Dad yesterday said when he woke up with fever it was so bad he felt like he was going to pass out. So, I'm like I NEED to get some Motrin NOW. I try standing again to go down stairs. I couldn't though. I was so dizzy. I fell over. I felt worse then I did on my bed.

I laid back down again. I couldn't yell for my sister who's room is next to mine after the bathroom, because my throat was hurting from coughing so much. What did I do? I laid there. Tossed and turned until around 5 am. At 5 I finally was like ok, I need to get down stairs somehow (where the medicine cabinent is) and get that Motrin. I slowly started to crawl out of my room to the stairs. I'm feeling way worse now, crawling didn't make much of a difference. I let my pillow and blanket tumble down the stairs. I sat down on the stairs and sorta did this careful sliding thing down the stairs. Then I crawled to the couch and laid down. I tried to go into the kitchen and get the Motrin but I was too weak..and well I just felt like I was going to throw up. I knew my Dad would be down any minute anyways, because it's around that time he gets ready. I don't know what time he actually came down though, because I managed to fall asleep.

When he came down he asked if I was ok, I told him I needed some Motrin badly but I can't stand up because I'm too dizzy. He got me 2 Motrin's and some Day quill for my cough and stuffy nose and all that fun stuff. He told me I need to try to eat something so the Motrin wouldn't hurt my stomach. He started listing things like: Toast, granola bar..? I'm like oh..I'm going to puke.. I ran to the toliet and sure enough I puked. I have no clue what came up though because I barely ate anything yesterday. It was nasty. I'm always scared when I hear the words "Stomach. Flu." because I do NOT like throwing up. I'm scared to. Why? Because it feels REALLY ICKY..and..well common! Some sort of muscle is contracting and making your food go up and out.

At that point I was sweating and shaky, and I felt AWESOME! I finally threw up and got rid of whatever it was I needed getting rid of! After that I tried to eat some dry cereal but only managed 5 pieces..and then I was knocked out!!

And now, my medicine is starting to wear off and I'm starting to feel warm again. But, alls well that ends well right?

All this to say: DO NOT DRINK OFF YOUR FAMILY OR FRIENDS (if you even drink off your friends..ew.) WASH. YOUR. HANDS! And don't breathe in other ppl's air ok?

Thankee much,

Elisabeth Darcy

Ps. I was so hoping it was just one of those "one-day" typea flu's. Darn. Oh well. And now my sister Jules is starting to feel pretty bad. And I'm suppose to take a nap today. I only EVER take naps when I'm sick. Even if I'm EXTREMELY tired. Why? Because well (shh don't tell anyone) I'm not a baby you know! Hmph!

The Swine attacks again

It's official. I ache all over. My chest hurts..got a cough and it burns. Throat stings from all my coughing. And I now have a fever of 101.0 (fast forward 1..2 hours later) I took medicine and I'M STILL BURNING. Really weak. There's times when I'm so hot I feel like throwing up. And my aches..they just..stay.

Oh and my temperature is now 101.2

No a&p for me tomorrow haha. :{

Ok..need to go lay back down. Just an ukpdate.

-Lissiiiie

Contamination!&Assumptions that effect our lives

I'm contaminated!!

Ahhh!!

Woke up this morning @ 5 in the morning because I started coughing pretty bad. Throat was hurting, eyes were burning, body aching!

Great....

But, I'm doing ok right now. I don't know if I had a fever or not, because when I woke I just took Motrin righttaway to get rid of 'em body aches. As my friend would say, "BLECK!"

Taking temperature right now.

Good news: I finished my Anatomy homework early this time!! YAY!

Bad news: If I truly do have the flu I can't go to A&P tomorrow anyways! RATS! And we're doing a lab. :((

Good news: I just finished yesterday, reading this book called Assumptions that effect our lives it's a must read.

The author compares early Greek, and Hebrew assumptions and then looks at the world we live in today's assumptions.

So, the Greeks didn't value life as the Hebrews did. The Hebrews thought all life had value. Or like: The Hebrews knew that education, government, and God go hand in hand. You can't seperate them. We see the consequences in America and the world today, of putting "boundaries" around God and His church. The consequences are: Abortion, Education without God, Deism, Atheisim, Evolution(ism..jk), relative thinking, and of course a nation that is being ruled by a government that doesn't claim "One nation under God" anymore!

We have to remember that God is God over heaven and earth. He is the God of the temporal, as well as the eternal. There are no "boundaries". Yes, the church shouldn't be leading the nation. However, the government need not do ANYTHING that goes AGAINST Scripture. Our whole nation stands on MAN and HIS STANDARDS. What will happen? Just like every other unsuccessful nation, we'll fall..very far and very hard. Unless we repent and America stands on God, and His Word again, then, only then will we be a victorious and prosperous nation UNDER GOD!

And there's my sermon for the day. (Jk)

PRAY FOR US! My Dad has had a high fever all day yesterday and now today. Pray that Mum doesn't get it. She said she's getting a sore throat.

Keep warm, wash your hands, and DO NOT COVER YOUR MOUTH WITH YOUR HAND! DO IT WITH YOUR ARM. Otherwise you still spread 'em germs! We don't need to get sick more then we already are.

Yours Truly,

~Elisabeth Darcy

Swine vs. Humans a struggle for life

I guess you can say I over dramatize things; hence the title. This is really just an excuse to have something to post about. I've been itching to write at least something.

A lot of people are getting sick. High fevers for days on end, and feverish dreams. Coughs, and colds. Stuffy noses and constant sneezing. (Scratch the constant sneezing. That's just me.) I don't know why but ever since we did that yard work with the weeds I've been all stuffed up and lately I've been sneezing a lot. I think my body is trying to fight off something. I'm hanging in there. Hoping I won't get sick..let alone the swine flu. I mean, who wants a curly pink tail, pig snout, and a possible pot belly? That would be a nightmare! Especially since I love bacon! (hahaha thought I'd add that just to shake things up a bit)

On a more serious note, WASH YOUR HANDS!! Keep a bottle of that soap stuff that you just put on your hands and doesn't need rinsing. (Those things are cool) And/or purell bottles. Because the swine is TAKING OVER!

Anyways, please wash your hands and take some vitamin C, or some air borne. The swine flu is pretty tough. Lotsa people I know are getting it or have had it. Yuck!

Keep warm! Getting rather chilly out!!

AMEN!! (I'm serious right now. I'm just really happy. Lack of sleep does things to you. It can do WONDERS, or HORRORS..such as make your eyes all puffy and make you a GROUCH! Ps. So far, no swine flu. Which is good, because I really thought I was gonna get pretty sick there hehe. I still am a bit sick but I think it's just the sudden drop in the temperatures. You know, from 80 degrees to 21 below zero!!! Jking... it has been rather cold though!! I've been drinking lots of TEA! Ok..this "ps" I can already tell, is going to be a whole other post in and of itself if I don't SKEDADDLE!

My Mysterious friend

Hi everyone,

I've been rather busy lately as you know. I haven't had time to post some rather sad news. Well, I lost a friend and I've gained a friend.

Sophie (our energetic pup) was given away on Thursday. We got Sophie when she was 8 weeks old. (Um..I think. Yeah.) We started to train her. She was eager to please, and willing to learn. We were all so excited. Then my Mom found out she was pregnant with baby Josiah, and she started getting severe morning sickness. (Her usual in the first few months.) Some friends of ours from California came to visit for a week but it ended up being a month due to a sudden emergency. What with having 10 kids in the house, a pregnant morning sick Mama, and now a new puppy it was all too much. Our house was way to crowded, Sophie was way to energetic to handle the newcomers, and Mama was way to stressed to handle it all. The first one to go out was, well Sophie. After a month it was harder to train her. And slowly she became an outside dog. (This summer was really busy. Lots of people came. And..poor ol' Soph was neglected you could say.)

The time came for us to give her away. I had a dream I was looking out the sliding glass door, and out there was poor Sophie frozen solid in the snow. IT WAS SCARY!! And weird. I was thinking if Joseph and his coat of man colors were alive, (yah, yah coats are inanimite objects I get it!) he'd say the dream meant it's time to give him away. Anyways winter is a-coming and we want Sophie to have a nice family that can give her the love she deserves and the training she deserves and needs!!

We gave her away to the Boise humane society where we're hoping they'll put her through the prison training system. They train them pretty well and then families buy them.

It was sad to see her go. We loved Sophie. But, I can't help thinking and hoping for that family that will take her in and love her dearly!! Pray for Sophie to get a new and awesome home.

Now, like I said. I lost a friend and gained a friend.

Ma surprised us that we were getting a new puppy (this was last week she told us about the new puppy we'd be getting) and he's for FREE! Awesome, eh? Anyways, she showed us a few pictures. He's a chihuahua mixed with a rat terrier. He has more chihuahua then rat terrier. His ears don't always stay up. They go down at times too. He's really cute. He's black and silky with the cutest tale and white paws. He loves playing fetch, and get this: HE'S ALREADY TRAINED! Pretty well too!! He knows "Leave it" "Go on outta here" (the owner didn't like him in her bedroom) "Outta there" (if he was in the trash or in some place he shouldn't have been) "Sit" "Come" and he minds when he's on the leash. He knows "Go lay down" (she had a corner for her dogs to just "Chill" in) He can "Stand" "Roll over" and fetch of course! If he could he would fetch ALL day! Anyways, we talked about it and we all agreed that Toby (that's his name) was the pup for us! So we got him today!!

And that is my mysterious friend I was telling you about..Bel. :))

I'll try to get some pics up sometime ok!?

Can't wait for you to meet him!!

Love always,

Lissie

Achoo! I aint gonna get that swine flu

Yes the title rhymes. No, I didn't plan it too.

I'M SORE ALL OVER! My allergies are KILLING me because of all 'em weeds! My feet and butt are sore because I kept falling over on the real stubborn weeds. GRRR.

But, our yard is clean! The sod guy came! So, a landscaper's gonna come and actually put the lawn in..like next Friday. We had to exterminate all our weeds.

We had a lot of help. My Uncle came out. And my Lola. And her boyfriend. And then a friend-Josey came. Plus my Dad, me, Jake, and Nana (my other g-ma that lives 8 doors down) helped in the end. SO, we had quite a crew.

My eyes feel all hot in my head and they've been burning ever since the weeds. My back and neck ache from bending over. MY FEET ARE SORE!

WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME! IT'S NOT LIKE I'M 80 YEARS OLD OR ANYTHING!

And now tomorrow I have to get up early (I usually wake everyone up in the morning for church) for church! I'M TIRED. It was 9:30 when I got on the computer I thought it was like 11 or 12!!

MOMMY! I'M A BABY!

Post later,

SWEETNESS! TOTAL SWEETNESS! LIKE *SCREAMS* CAN I HAVE YOUR AUTOGRAPH! YES, I'M IN A HYPER TOTALLY HHHYPPPPEEDDDD MOOD!

WE MADE IT! 100TH POST!

For my 100th post, I'd like to share with you a site that I have joined thanks to Warrior-4-Christ from Teen Perspectives, and thanks to my new blogging friend Keilah! <----- Click there to be taken to the 101 Days of Praise site.

It's for young women/ladies. I want to encourage you to join! 101 Days of Praise is a challenge of giving God praise for 101 days. This is something that I've been trying to do in my every day life so I thought it'd be neat to join. It's encouraging to see other Christian ladies coming together to praise God!

Instead of taking the time to sniff the roses, why don't you take the time to praise God Almighty? If you are out of practice, tarry no more. He's waiting for you. If you are in the habit of taking special time to praise God, I encourage you to try and incorporate that in your daily life. Such as doing the dishes. Do it unto the Lord. That is in and of itself an act of worship. There are no boundries to God's kingdom. Church doesn't start in your own house and only within the church building. Church is HERE and NOW on earth, and how we live our lives. God is Lord over heaven and everything below heaven. He's Lord over the temporal as well as the eternal! I think we forget that sometimes. I know I do.

So thank you Keilah <----- click there if you want to see Keilah's regular blog. for encouraging us ladies, and for presenting us with this great challenge!

Much Love,

~Elisabeth Darcy (a.k.a. Lissie)

A new series..

HAPPY OCTOBER FIRST!

My 1-post-a-day series is now over, since it is now October. I would like to start a new series. I haven't thought it up yet. But, I think it'll be more of a once-a-week type of thing instead of everyday. :) Yay! So exciting!!

Oh! I'm almost at my 100th post! This makes post number 98! AHHH!!

Have a good weekend!!,

Lissie

Ps. I think I might do something like "Happy weekend" post series through the month of October. Or I was thinking more like "Funny Fridays". But...I'm still deciding. :) :) :)
