Have you loved your neighbor today?
I am on a role today, we all are on a role! Jules, Nana, and I went to Savers. I gave away 10 BIBLE TRACKS! If you aren't familiar with the term (Which I highly doubt you are..but just in case :D) Bible tracts are little pieces of paper that have the Gospel message in a nutshell!! Like there's this one track that is a circle piece of paper and on the front says tuit. It's "If you get a 'round tuit". Here's what the "Tuit" tracts says on the back: You have pacified your conscience by saying that you would find peace with God one day...when you get a round tuit. Well, now you have one. This is why you shouldn't wait any longer: if you have told one lie, you are a liar. If you have stolen anything (irrespective of value), you are a thief. If you have looked with lust, you have committed adultery in your heart. If you hate someone, you've committed murder in your heart. Your sin has angered God. The Bible teaches that you are His enemy. On Judgement day, you will end up in Hell. But there's good news: "god commended His love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us." Jesus Christ took your punishment, then He rose from the dead and defeated the grave. If you repent and trust Him, God will grant you everlasting life. Read your Bible daily and obey it. God will never let you down.
COOL HUH!?!! We ordered three different kinda tracks. The "around tuit", the million dollar bill with our lovely President's face on the front of it, and the 101 world's funniest 1-liners. The million dollar bill has on the back "The million dollar question" on the back of it. The million dollar question: Will you go to heaven when you die? And then it runs you through the good person test. It's pretty cool! The 101 world's funniest 1-liners is what it is and then it has an editorial where they give you the Gospel message. It's pretty neat. I'd like to get some more kind of tracts.
Anyhow, back to my story. We were at Savers, and Jules and I had brought some tracts with us. I brought 4 101 world's funniest 1-liners, 3 million dollar bills, and 4 around tuits! [I don't know how many Jules brought Xp] We were inspired by my brother who while at Home Depot with my Dad gave out 5 tracts; my Dad who gave out (3?).
My Nana likes to use checks when she doesn't have cash on her so I was told to ask one of the clerks if they take checks. I thought WHAT A GREAT OPPORTUNITY! I asked her and I also asked if she ever got bored on her job. Clerk: Quite frankly yes. Me: Well, here's some jokes for you to read whenever you get bored. Clerk: OH! Thanks so much!
PAUSE
Before I go on I want to mention when you first witness to someone you are VERY nervous. I had witnessed I believe on Thursday to this girl on my street who I befriended for the purpose of witnessing to her. When I brought up the subject MAN WAS I NERVOUS. But, it's a test. What do you care more about? Living in your comfort zone knowing you are "safe", or that eternity is a long time especially an eternity in hell.
UN PAUSE
As we went along with our shopping, I found another opportunity to give a tract out. I pretended to be looking at some different shirts while I secretly watched the lady on the other side of the rack. She looked stern. [Author's note: She was very stern. It hurt too.] But, I took the plunge even though I knew the water was cold.
"Excuse me, have you gotten one of these yet? (Pulling out a million dollar tract.) On the back it has the million dollar question."
"Oh, uh-huh." As she examines it. I can tell she thought I was some kid playing a practical joke. Even though the sternness cut deep something deeper cut, what if years from today God uses that million dollar tract, or even reminds this lady of it and she gets to know Jesus Christ?
I was thrilled!!!!!!!!! There is a joy that LEAPS into your heart when you know you've just shared the Gospel with someone!! It's amazing, crazy, strange, wonderful, and makes you feel like skipping and leaping in meadows with pure green grass or filled with lots of flowers--ALL AT THE SAME TIME! Crazy I know.
It was so nice to go out with our Nana, have some conversations about the tracts, and get some really cute stuff! Jules got some great shirts, some new flip flops and I think a pair of Capri's; WOOT WOOT!
I was on FIRE! We are told by Jesus to go out into all the world and preach His word. HAVE YOU DONE THAT TODAY? Have you loved your neighbor? I heard this from an atheist who was preached to by a Christian sharing his faith. He said, "How much must you hate me to not share the Gospel with me?" Think about that the next time you are about to pass up a great opportunity. What if you see your annoying neighbor being casted into hell on Judgement day? You can't preach the good news in heaven, on judgement day, in the grave. Time is ticking! There goes another minute GONE forever! [Mr. Todd Friel, if you ever happen to come across this post yes I am sorry I stole your line. It's such a good line I had to share it with my readers. Besides that I'm a big fan!!!!!!!!! Oh, and Kirk I'm a BIG fan!!]
I kept running into this boy, so I went up to him and asked him if he liked jokes. He was like ...ok this gal is WEEEEIIIRRDD. He said he did so I gave him the 101 world's funniest 1-liners. It was kind of awkward because his Mom and sisters were right there so they're probably like ok..a girl coming up to my brother who we've never seen before. LEMME TELL YA IT'S WORTH IT FOLKS! That boy, MAYBE EVEN HIS WHOLE FAMILY might see me again in heaven! Of course it's GOD who does the work. But, he could use these tracts to stir people's hearts. All the glory goes to God. I'm just happy to be like Jesus going and telling everyone about Him!! Isn't funny when you think about it you ARE being just like Christ when you tell others about Him. He did open street preaching and why? To point the finger to Himself; showing others LOOK I AM THE CHRIST.
That's like three now right? (Trying to keep track here. lol.) I had to try some things on so I pretended I dropped the million dollar tract on the floor some feet way from the dressing room I was in. When I came out of the dressing room it was gone!! Someone had stooped down to pick it up! I also put an around tuit tract on this table. That one took FOREVER to be seen by someone, but finally it got picked up by someone! I did another million dollar tract on the floor and that one took a bit to be seen and picked up by someone too in the end someone got it!
I saw this girl sitting outside of the dressing rooms (probably waiting for someone) she looked soooo bored. I went up to her and here's our convo: Me: You look so bored! Here's for when you "get around tuit". If you flip it over there's a message on the back. Girl: OH THANK YOU! ME: You're welcome. :D By God's providence I had given this tract to the daughter of the stern lady who I gave the million dollar tract. Who knows, God has a plan for those people.
When we were checking out there was a girl behind us who looked bored and out of it. (rough shopping time?) Anyhow, I asked her if she liked jokes. She just stared at me and gave me a little shrug of the shoulders. She was trying to say something but no words came out of her mouth. [Author's Note: I was like ok I'm either weird for "chit-chatting" with her or this was just really random for her hahaha.] I told her: Well, you should read these they are really funny. Definitely read them. [Author's note: She was like oookkkkkkkkkkkk...]
Jules went to go put the cart away so I waited in a totally different check out line then the one we were at. I had a reason. (Can't you guess?) When it came to my turn I had nothing in my hands to buy. I looked at the clerk and said (in a really serious tone I don't think she knew what was coming hahah) I have shopped here before and you checked me out and you were one of the sweetest clerks I've met! It must be boring for you to come here day after day checking people out. This is for you whenever you get bored. (as i hand her the 101 funny 1-liners) She really appreciated it and gave me a hug. So, there's one way to do it. As we walked out of the store a dude held the door open for us so I asked: Hey Sir, have you gotten one of these yet? (handed an around tuit. the only one i had left) Dude: What is it? Me: Look on the back it has a message, have a good day!
I SHARED THE GOOD NEWS WITH TEN PEOPLE IN ONE STORE! TEEEEEEEEEEEN PEOPLE!
Later that day..........................................
We went for a walk with Sophie and some neighbors around the block were enjoying the sunny day when they saw Sohpie. We let them pet her and I said: Here, before I go I want to give you two something. (I handed them each an around tuit track because it was the first one I was able to grab out of my purse, and my pocket.) I left.
12 PEOPLE! Lemme leave you with a challenge, have you loved your neighbor today?

Scripture of the day
Proverbs 26:11 Like a dog that returns to his vomit is a fool who repeats his folly.
If you are wondering why I chose this verse, it's because Sophie our new puppy is living proof of it. She had up-chucked a day ago or something like that and every time we take her out to go potty we have to keep her from eating her puke. (Don't worry Jake cleaned it. :D) This little puppy is proving this verse true. Do you find yourself returning to your sin like the dog returning to his puke? I know I do. We all have our particular sin struggles. Mine is anger. Mind you that's just one of my struggles. I find myself having to bite down on this anger. I'm no better the Sohpie going back to her vomit and eating it. YUCK. It's disgusting right? It's the same idea with sin. God HATES IT. It's DISGUSTING IN HIS EYES.
Today I had a wake up call on not underestimating sin. Although I was angry inside there was that little voice inside me challenging me to examine myself, "Do I really under estimate sin? Do I take sin lightly?" I found the answer pretty quick and you can imagine it was a yes. I do find myself under estimating sin. Every where you can find Christians who under estimate sin. We as Christians tend to think we're "safe" because Jesus will forgive us right? We tend to use Jesus as our medical insurance. When we have a problem or an issue, or we want/need something we go to Jesus the doctor. What are we doing!? We are being like the Jews who considered themselves "Safe" because they are "God's people" and they're "circumcised". "Look at those gentiles. They aren't even circumcised." That's how we act. We are too busy sitting in our self righteousness when there are people in Romania sitting in shackles being tortured for their faith. There are people in China, and the middle east who's souls are craving for food.
Let me ask you something. How many Bibles do you have in your house? No, seriously how many Bibles do you have in your house? I've got about eleven or so Bibles. PLUS a bonus of the Internet. Sometimes if I can't find my Bible instead of just picking up one of the many Bibles I've got lying around the house I'll go online and look up "Esv online" and I can read the Word there. We have access to more then one Bible within our own homes!
I've been reading this book for quite some time called Tortured for Christ by Pastor Richard Wurmbrand. It's an amazing book. I just finished it today. I cried through the book. Those of you who know me know that I hardly ever cry. I only cry unless I'm really angry. It takes a lot to make me cry. I wasn't even "Teary-eyed" no, tears were flowing out of my eyes. This book is about our brothers and sisters in Christ dying for their faith in restricted countries. The courage and the strength of the "Underground Church" is jaw-dropping. We Americans are swimming in Bibles yet when was the last time you actually read your Bible? We Americans are swimming in the liberty of being able to do open street preaching without having to worry about getting in trouble with the authorities. We have the freedom to preach and teach these atheists living right in our own country. Yet we do nothing. We sit on our thrones of self-righteousness looking down up on the non-believers. Looking down at our next door neighbors who are so stupid because they don't go to church on Sundays.
Who the HECK ARE WE? ARE WE CHRISTIANS, OR ARE WE PHARISEES? Who did Jesus associate with? It sure as heck wasn't the Pharisees, know he preached to the Samaritans, the blind and cripple, the poor and needy, the adulteress, the little children. Who are we to look down at the non-believing? Who are we to think we are any better then them? Who are we to think we are any where near perfect? We are so imperfect our God came down as nothing as a piece of dirt, lived the perfect life and died for his enemies! WE MOCKED, SPIT, WHIPPED, LAUGHED, AND KILLED OUR LORD. Yet, He died for us. He could have right then and there said YOU ARE WORTHLESS! I AM GOING TO THROW YOU ALL IN THE LAKE OF FIRE! What did He say as He was humiliated before the public? FATHER, FORGIVE THEM FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO.
So who am I to sit on my throne of "fireproof" self-righteousness, and say "I'm ok. I'm a good person. God'll forgive me for my little sins." So many times I have to remind myself that there is no little and big sins. How many times do we forget that? How many times do we look at ourselves and say "We're not as bad as the murder."? "We're not as bad as the thief". If you call your brother a fool you have murdered him in your heart. WOW! Then I am a bloody, disgusting murder. I have the blood of so many on my hands.
Get this.....every time you sin you are rebelling against God and saying I HATE YOU. Now you tell me, are you just as bad as the thief who converted to Christ on his last day?
Before I go I want to leave you with a challenge. Read your Bible every day and experience the peace He plants in your heart along with it. Here's where the challenge comes in, go and tell others about the good news. Do you have a noisy neighbor? Bake a batch of cookies and go give it to your noisy neighbor, don't for get to slip a Bible track or a verse at the bottom of the cookie plate. Invite them over for tea or something. Offer your service in baby sitting for them. Part of Christianity is being uncomfortable in dying to yourself. We can do so much for these hungry souls if we'd only reach out to them. The best part is being a missionary for Christ doesn't mean you have to leave your home and raise a bunch of money to go to other countries. We have our own country to take care of. America is falling away from Christ within each day that the laws of God are violated. Such as having gay rights allowed, no praying in school, abortion rights, etc. THE WEST SLEEPS!! There is one body of Christ. Part of the body is in those countries where God is "illegal". We need to do something for these our brethren who need the tools to reach out to their country, to their government. We can get involved in ministries that help smuggle Bibles to restricted areas. Here's a piece of Tortured for Christ (the last bit). "Our brethren there, alone and without help, are waging the greatest, most courageous battle of the twentieth century, equal to the heroism, courage, and dedication of the Early Church. And the free Church sleeps on, oblivious of their struggle and agony, just as Peter, James, and John slept in the moment of their Savior's agony. Will you also sleep while your brethren in Christ suffer and fight for the gospel? Will you hear our message: "Remember us, help us"? "Don't abandon us!" Now I have delivered the message from the faithful, martyred Church-from your brothers and sisters suffering in the bonds of atheistic communism, and under attack across the world from Indonesia to Africa. Don't abandon them."~Pastor Richard Wurmbrand on Tortured for Christ
I leave you with this, do you love Christ enough to lay down your will and your comforts and tell others about your Savior?
~Lissie Darcy

Come and meet Sohpie
Remember when I told you we were trying to get the boxadore? Well, he wasn't the one for us because God decided Sohpia (who we call Sophie. I came up with the name.:) was the puppy for us! Sophie is a border collie lab mix! She's black all over except for the white on her chest and the tips of her paws. She has the most beautiful grey eyes ever! If ever there were such a thing as the "puppy eye look" SHE'S got it! She's so precious!!
Yesterday my Mom said she was going out to get stamps and well let's put it this way it doesn't take and hour and a half (or more) to get some stamps. When the finally came through the door there was Sophie in my Mama's arms. It one BIG surprise for us!! We've never had a dog before. We did find a dog once and kept it for a while but that wasn't the year for us to have a dog so we gave her away. So Sophie is our first house dog ever!! She's pretty awesome! She's only two months old.
Jessi bear isn't doing to well. She's beens sick with a cold for a while plus spring is allergie season so there's a bonus for ya. What with Sophie around she's rather jealous. And she's cutting her pointer teeth. Not sure if she's still cutting her top molers or not but still she's a teething baby competeing with a teething puppy. Hmmm...
I have one prayer request before I close this post. Today while at work my Dad's van broke down. As you may or may not know our green van is broken down too. SO the only current working one was the 14 year old areostar blue 7 passenger seat van. Note: There's 8 of us. And that broke down today as well. A friend of ours from church has offered to look at it. PLEASE PRAY that God will bless us with a vehicle that can fit our big family.
Much love,

Up coming stuff/changes
I do not post very often. I get a lot of ideas on what to post about. I think about a lot of things and half of it needs to get out of my head in into words so I can fill my head with more things to think about.
A couple things, I'm going to start two new blog series to help me post more often. I read a lot of blogs, and I think I might steal an idea from a quite a few people. I notice some people do the Scripture reading for the day whether it's just a verse or a passage they read that day I think it's a good idea. I read my Bible a lot so it's a great idea to share and encourage others to read their Bible as well. I'm gonna try to keep that going. The other "blog series" will be on my family. I'll go through each person in my family telling you a little more about them so you can get to know them better. Mind you there's eight of us in our family so be ready for eight new posts!!! (Should I do it each day or each week?) We'll take a poll.
ANYWAYS GOTS TO GO TO BED NOW READERS! YOU DO TOO! WHAT ARE YOU DOING UP SO LATE READING MY BLOG FOR PETE'S SAKE!? (Who's Pete by the way? I've always wanted to know.)
Good bye for now readers!! Ta-ta! Pip pip cheerio N' all that, wot wot! Gotta have our British talk now don't we!?
~Lissie
Ps. Can someone teach me how to make a blog button for my blog?
Ps.s. What about a signature? I have no clue how to make those.
Ps.s.s.s. Our family is thinking about getting a dog!! A boxadore!!
Ps.s.s.s.s. I'm going to California on the 28-4th. But, the whether on the news says there might be a storm. We might have to delay our trip. I've been looking forward to this for a while now. If you could pray that the storm will pass, or that there won't be a storm that'd be great. Rightio readers, to bed I go!

Birthday Blast and other stuff
My 15th birthday was on Easter. Tt was out here we had lamb with a mint pesto paste stuff (dunno what it's called) to put over the meat, fresh green beans, mountain mashed potatoes, and salad. It was YUMMY! For dessert an awesome ca-(I strongly dislike cake) POACHED PEARS IN A REDUCED WINE SAUCE WITH VANILLA ICE CREAM in these little wafer cookie like baskets! It was sooo good!
This last Friday I had my birthday party. 14 Girls (that's including Julienne and I) came! We had a taco bar with homemade salsa and gaucamole! IT was delicous! We played catch a phrase, and would you rather. Had great conversations, opened presents and had a make-your-own sunday type thing for dessert! It was great!!
**Special thanks to all who came and for all the lovely gifts!**
That night after the party, around 11ish my cousin Brandon came over to spend the night. It was great. He got to pig out on ice cream, soda, etc. Us three oldies played catch a phrase together while Jonah and Jamie battled each other in *Star fox.
*Star fox is a game cube game one of the few video games we have and actually play together.
A tradition we have is whenever my cousin spends the night we sleep on the floor downstairs. (Well, two of us sleeps on the couches) It's a fun thing kind of like "Camping". It's especially awesome during the summer because downstairs is a lot cooler in the night then upstairs.
It was a fun time Brandon and I stayed up talking til like 3 in the morning then he whimped out and fell a sleep and of course I was left wide awake thinking on previous conversations I had had with friends and dreaming about the amazing time I had with all those girls! SERIOUSLY I WAS IN HEAVEN! A BUNCH OF GIRLS WHO LIKE TO TALK AND GOOF AROUND WHAT COULD BE BETTER? Perhaps drifting to sleep at 3 in the morning? JK
Saturday we had so much fun because it was nice hot weather. We all were left with pink faces from being in the sun outside all day. Sunday was SOOOO AWESOME! We visited Kings and got to see all the girls again and meet lots of amazing people and converse with good friends we haven't seen in a while now. It's so nice to see all these pregnant mothers, spring time is here!! New children are ariving!! More faces to kiss and more people to meet and love and teach and talk to and read stories to and more giggles to listen to. Honestly I think the best music is children's laughter. Can I download that to my samsung ipod? Afterwards we had a bbq at some cool people's house. (They're only cool because they're hanging out with us which makes them cool. Oh yeah!! (COURSE I'M KIDDING!! THEY ARE SOME REALLY COOL PEOPLE!)
Good eats, great convos, and lots of laughs!!

There is a Fountain Filled with Blood
There is a fountain filled with blood drawn from Emmanuel's veins;
and sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains.
Lose all their guilty stains, lose all their guilty stains;
and sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains.
The dying thief rejoiced to see that fountain in his day;
and there may I, though vile as he, wash all my sins away.
Wash all my sins away, wash all my sins away;
and there may I, though vile as he, wash all my sins away.
Dear dying Lamb, thy precious blood shall never lose its power till all the ransomed church of God be saved, to sin no more.
Be saved, to sin no more, be saved, to sin no more;
till all the ransomed church of God be saved, to sin no more.
E'er since, by faith, I saw the stream thy flowing wounds supply,
redeeming love has been my theme, and shall be till I die.
And shall be till I die, and shall be till I die;
redeeming love has been my theme, and shall be till I die.
Then in a nobler, sweeter song,
I'll sing thy power to save,
when this poor lisping, stammering tongue lies silent in the grave.
Lies silent in the grave,
lies silent in the grave;
when this poor lisping, stammering tongue lies silent in the grave.
and sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains.
Lose all their guilty stains, lose all their guilty stains;
and sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains.

A lil' update :D
Hiya wonderful readers of mine!,
My Aunt is out here visiting from California. All us "kiddies" call her "TT". (Long story.) Anyways she arrived here on the 31st and so far we've had a blast. We haven't been doing much but whenever "Big TT" is in the house everyone has a good time.
The adults went out for sushi, beer, and the Boise co-op. Those of you who aren't from Idaho the Boise co-op is just a cool place to buy awesome products. Such as great beer, wine, cheese, tea, tea, TEA (Yup I love tea!!), BREAD, BREAD, great bread!!, and other neat products.
OF COURSE us gals went out for an outing. (me Mum, me TT, and me me. :d) We went to look at these two aparments. They were AWESOME looking! They were really cute, modern, and clean.
PAUSE
Because I am the author of this blog it is my duty to my faithful readers to share a little bit about myself to them. That is what I intend to do. What I am about to tell you dear readers, is a precious dream of mine. It may not seem precious, it may seem stupid, it may seem lame, it may in a way seem like my own "fairy tale". But, this is my dream and I would like to share it with my readers as a way of thanking them for taking time to read my blog.
UNPAUSE
I'm the kind of person who'd love to live more out in the country. Here's my dream....now listen because I'm going to speak in dreamy whispered words that only fairies, and little children who still have the inoccense to believe in fairies. "My dream is to get married to a wonderful man who's desire above all else is to love Christ with all his heart, all his soul, and all his mind. Who's desires consist of raising a new generation of Christians to love Christ and live lives for their amazing Creator. I want our house to be a little yellow house with a red door. I want flowers in the front and the back, lots of sunshine in our house, and (here's the new-added-in-part) I want our house to be on a piece of land more in the country." There you have it readers. This is a dream of an almost-fifteen-year-old-girl who often wonders how many children will be in her little yellow house, who often prays about her future husband, who often wonders if she'll be a good mother to those precious children of hers, who often wonders about things and life constantly!
Looking at those aparments almost made me change my mind about the little yellow house because they were really cute!! BUT, then the magic of those pretty apartments broke when I realized I wouldn't be able to raise a family in them. I wouldn't be able to have my flower garden, I wouldn't be able to have all my family and family in Christ over for dinner, or just over in general.
The outing was sooo much fun! I wanted to get my cartilidge pierced during the outing as well. I had talked about it with my Mom some days and we had talked about it again with my Dad the night before. (--at least I think it was the night before??) He said he didn't care how many piercings I'd get in my ears, just as long as the piercings weren't anywhere else.
My TT being the expert on such things, she suggested that I get it done at a piercing place (such as tattoo shop) because the healing process is much faster. So we looked at at least four tattoo shops and it looked like I wasn't going to get it done because they either didn't do piercing, their piercers weren't there, or they only did it if the person was 16 because of their policy.
After giving up looking at tattoo shops, we were all hungry. We were in down town Boise and it's an interesting place to be! We don't live in the city (just like all you Californians in Vacaville don't live in San Fran. To put it in simpler tones.) so I think it's a fun place to go every now and then for "outings". We were on a hunt for a good place to eat and we finally saw this cute (and yummy) Mexican resteraunt called Cafe ole'! It was awesome! They had a salsa bar, chips and salsa to keep ya busy while you look at their very fattening yet TO DIE FOR menu!! My Mom and I ended up getting something to split. Our plate consisted of: Three Carnita tacos, with a side dish of rice and beans. IT WAS AWESOME!! By the time we three left the resteraunt I think all three of us wanted to either puke or take some caster oil. (Which by the way Mum and TT didn't end up needing the caster oil cuz they just got done taken a "Colon clense" on Monday/Tuesday) All in all I loved the whole day! It was in the high 60's all sunny and blue out too so of course we were all very happy! Later on that day my Dad, Jules, Jake, and I went driving. It was fun. I'm getting wayyyy better. I can do 3-point-u-turn's as easy as baking a cake.
Sunday we went to my cousin's house to celebrate my Aunt's birthday. Her b-day is 6 days from mine. It was a fun day. We attempted to fly a kite that was too heavy for the wind (fun trying anyways and it was in the 70's at least!!), we played some rounds of air hockey, jumped on the tramp, hung out, ate a delicious turkey dinner with some yummy cake, and played outside "beach volley ball". IT was really fun!!
I have disiplined myself by reading my Bible everyday on my own, and praying frequently for everyone and everything that comes on my mind. In my spare time I'd sing hymns or pray to God. I've been doing this for a while now and I've gotten to the point where my prayers go on for hours in the night, or an hour or so during chores, etc, it no longer matters if my hymns sound good or not just as long as I mean what I'm singing and the focus is praising Christ. I've also gotten to the point where I'm reading in at least five different books in the Bible. SO I've built myself up to where not only am I reading everywhere in the Bible, I'm also reading more then one chapter in the book itself. I do not say this to brag, or to point out "How holy I am", but merely to make a point. My point is if you push yourself to read your Bible, sing to God, and pray to Him. Share your personal thoughts, feelings, strengths, weaknesses, dreams, stories, etc. do not leave anything from Him when this is done there is a peace that He plants in your heart and a contenment in all circumstances you are placed in. When you start it may be hard for you to sit yourself down and actually give God time, but this is our calling as Christians. We need to be dwelling more in the Word because in times of need we'll have the Word in our head. In times of witnessing what if we didn't have a Bible with us at that time?
Here's my point, I've reached the point in my life where walking with Christ no longer means holding my parent's hand, Christ's hand, and my Pastor's hand. It means I'm holding Christ's hand. Yes my parents are still descipling me. Yes, I still have much to learn. Yes I learn from my Pastor. Yes I learn from other examples around me. But, I am now entering that time in my life where my walk with Christ is becoming my own walk. I missed two days of reading my Bible and praying and praising my Savior. Two little days, 48 hours, and however many minutes. Monday and Tuesday. I had a melt down. I fought with my sister as if I was a two year old throwing a fit. My whole point is when you skip just one moment in your life where your every thought, every moment is not captive to Christ, it brings out the worst in you. It really brings out the sinful side. Of course I sin on a daily basis we all do. But, when your eyes are on Christ you sin less; because your focus is no longer on yourself, but on Him who died for you. I must say I felt so ashamed of myself. So ashamed!! I have a non-believer in the house and I was a bad witness.
Friends, do not forget for one moment why we are here on this earth. Do not forget for one second who it is that gave LIFE TO YOU! The very lungs you breathe with depend on He who gave them to you! As my dear, dear, Pastor said to me this last Sunday think about what our heavenly home will be like. Think about, and wonder about what our new bodies will be. Always be thinking and wondering what life will be like in eternity. Always have your focus on Christ! I was all the more guilty because it is four days til Easter and I am suppose to be dwelling on the man Jesus Christ who lived the perfect life, bled, died and rose again for me so I might live in eternity with Him! So I can have a personal relationship with God!! Even though I'm so unfaithful to Him, even though I forget about Him, rebell against Him, even though I do not always hate what is evil but continue to dwell in my sin because I'm too prideful to get out of my dirty mud hole and drink of the fountain of life. Dear God forgive this unfaithful sinner who constantly struggles to die to self. It is so hard friends! So hard! But, take heart! For their are others who are running the race with you! You are not alone. Even if everyone hates you, you have Him who is running always next to you. All you have to do is reach out and grab his hand and continue to run. If you are in need of a self check, read Romans 12, 13, and 14. It's a great reminder. The word is like a mirror reflecting our dirty, disgusting selves.
Well I must call it a night. Please pray for me and if ever you need prayer drop a comment or e-mail me @ pretty_littleteacup@yahoo.com and I will for sure pray for you. We as Christians should be encouraging each other in the faith, in the Word, always calling eachother to repentence.
Good bye for now my friends!,
~Lissie
Ps. Go to wretchedradio.com and check out Todd's site. Trust me it's awesome but I don't have time to go into details.
Ps.s. If you are new here drop a comment I love comments and I'd love to hear a little bit more about you.
Ps.s.s. If you are not a Christian and are exploring the faith you can contact me at the e-mail above, or you can click on over to Brazenhusseys's blog and drop a comment there asking any questions you need to. My Dad and Mom would be more then over joyed to talk to you more about Christ.
Ps.s.s.s. I'll spell check tomorrow so sorry :D
